How to edit files directly in Homestead (Laravel) VM with a IDE editor?

As per the title, forgive the lack of details but I'm just getting started with Laravel (following the beginner tutorial right now).

I installed Laravel via Homestead Virtual Machine but - unless using vim after connecting to ssh (vagrant ssh) I see no other clever way to actually work on the project, which is definitely easier when using a GUI such as Sublime Text, WebStorm, ...

Any clue? (Please don't mark this question as incomplete or downvote it)
