Laravel Solution: How to upload a file with Angular2 using Laravel5 as a Backend API?

I followed this tutorial about uploading a file using Angular2 & Laravel 5:

but the file didn't get uploaded, I tried different adjustments (like adding Content-Type: multipart/form-data, replacing $request->photo with $request->file('photo'), etc ...) but nothing changed, so, if anyone knows how to do the 'File Upload' using Angular2/Laravel5, please fill me in on the details .
