I need to create a new file to write some tasks on the server using logging

I must record some tasks in files, for example, when people enter the application I must leave a record in storage / logs / login.log. Another example would be, when a scheduled task is executed, a record is left of whether this task was executed correctly or the record is not stored in storage / logs / api.log. My problem is that I don't know how to configure the application so that each log is in the right place. I don't see much documentation or something that really helps guide me, I would appreciate any help.
