Which framework is best for ERP system, Larravel or CI with AngularJS?

I have a new requirement of ERP System Upgrade. The current system is in core PHP based application. This ERP is a rich type web application with a lots of module.

I have a plan to upgrade system to Codeigniter-3 with HMVC support + AngularJs.

I think I can slipt the apps to module by using HMVC of CI. In client side I am thinking of angular so that we can build UI quickly using Angular functions. Also I have plan to send all request from Angular to CI using RestfullAPI and from CI I can use CI_RestController to manage the request.

This is my new experience and I have no past experience in CI-HMVC along with AngularJS. I have a few resources in CI.

Kindly guide me by giving your suggestions on above technology.
