Socialite, accessing Google Drive files of Google authenticated user

I have used Socialite to login the user to the app with Google. Now, in the app, I want to ask for access permission to their Google Drive files, however I got confused here.

For asking the permission, do I need to require google/apiclient and try to re-login the user again with this approach? - in the link it shows login and access to drive files... or can I do it in Socialite as the user is already logged in?
