How to store images from Mysql result to a folder in other proyect

so im currently developing a web application that its going to be used only by the staff of researchers where im doing my intership, the main porpuse of this web app is to change images and other values from other proyect, basically its an interfaze to configure the main proyect and the way they want me to do it its to store the selected images from Mysql into the folder where the main proyect recovers the images so when they lunch that proyect it loads the new sets of images stored in his folder. I have no code to show you because im still getting my head around it and cant find something similar enough. Any idea is welcome! thank very much :)
