How to assign multiple type of users to one user in laravel?

I have users table. And I can have multiple types of users around 10 types of users. For all types I have created roles and permissions.

Types of users can be

packaging company,cutting company,agents,ranches,boss,right_hand_man,supervisor etc

Now these type of users agents,ranches,boss,right_hand_man,supervisor can be attached to cutting company ,packaging company

What approach should I follow , Do I need to make pivot table for that purpose?
