Laravel 500 error with 1 million rows

I have 1 million records in db. When I try to fetch it with pagination I'm getting a 500 error.

My controller method is.

$posts = Post::with('categories')->latest()->paginate(10);

Doess the pagination works on the server side? Any help would be appreciated.
