What is laravel service container & how it is used?

I want clear explanation about that because I refer a lot of articles but even now i didn't understand clearly and all are say ..its create an new instance by using the app service provider. Normally we can create an new instance manually for every time we needed..but the service container automatically creates an new instance and it can access by the key name & it can be used everywhere in the project by just define the key name ..then it automatically creates an instance...i want clear thought about this topic and how we can used in real time.plz examine this topic more clearly and give me an real time example. It will more helpful to us.
