Laravel - Save input values for later

I'm planning to make a step-by-step plan in Laravel where the user can put in some information and move on to the next step (Which is on the next page). But for each step, I want to prevent it from injecting the data into the database but instead, save them somewhere to inject them later when a certain phase of the step-program has finished. I want to do this to prevent junk in the database if the user decided to bail at a random step. Where do I need to look to make this work? I'm not that good of a programmer, Do have in mind.
