Chart.js line chart acts strange (no point hover tooltip, no animation) when browser zoom is set to 100%

I am facing this strange issue where my line chart does not show any tooltip, animation when my browser is zoomed at 100%, but when I zoom in or out in the page without even reloading it, the chart acts normally (shows tooltips, animates). So the problem gets fixed if the browser is not zoomed at 100%.
